News I use MSGFiler to get my emails out of my inbox.
I typically set it to respond to Command J (a tribute to my long years with Eudora)
Once the hot-key is typed, you’ll see a window where you can type in a few characters of the mailbox title, then hit Return to file the message.
If you want to see the folder in question (because you want to look there, or because you might have moved a message into the wrong folder:
You can type Command Option N to make a new mail window if desired.
Then bring up MSGFiler again and type Command O to open the folder.
Then you can take the misfiled message and just refile it.

News A lot of people ask, so here’s the answer:
It’s about time we got one!
I am glad Apple has opened up a store here in Baton Rouge.
They have hired some excellent people, and I have heard nothing but good feedback from my clients who have visited the store.
I am frequently asked:
“Have I gone?”
Yes. The business manager invited me over, and we had a great meeting. I look forward working with their staff on shared projects.
“Aren’t they just competition?”
No. There are more than enough Apple users in town to keep us both busy. Our focuses are different too. While the Mac Consulting Group is a reseller, and would love to sell you whatever Apple product you need, our focus is On Site work: consulting and repairs.
“Where should I buy my next Apple computer?”
if you are interested on our opinion, give us a call or email and let’s setup an on-site assessment of what is best for your usage. That is, afterall, at the heart of the services Allen Hancock is known for providing. Or, if you want the hands-on, take it home now experience, head over to the Apple Store. News Thanks to the City of Baton Rouge, Mac Consulting Group is proud to announce that we will be recycling our paper and cardboard.
Our new recycling dumpster is in place, you are welcome to come bring your cardboard and paper as well.
$100 a month to recycle… expensive? maybe,
But it sure beats throwing all our shipping boxes into the trash all the time.
